A Moonlight Beach residence takes full advantage of its location by the Pacific. The design objective was three fold – a functional open interior, a seamless connection to outdoor living and maximize the size of all outdoor green spaces on a small infill lot.
Surfside Projects collaborated with AIA Architect, Jamie Miller and Jeff Adams of Alliance Green Builders. Resulting in an L shaped Courtyard House with a small footprint on the environment, healthy living spaces and very Energy Efficient.
The home was certified of the best Green building practices by a third party rating system called Cal Green Point Rated. It is 24% more energy efficient and uses 17% less water then a newly built conventional house in California.
