A Kitchen Bathed in Sunshine

The centerpiece of the design is the cleverly positioned kitchen. DROO strategically oriented it towards the light source, ensuring a bright and welcoming atmosphere. This light-filled haven becomes the heart of the home, perfect for whipping up meals and gathering with loved ones.

A Nook for Every Essential

Understanding the homeowner's needs, DROO incorporated a thoughtfully designed "nook" adjacent to the kitchen. This versatile space provides much-needed additional storage. But beyond functionality, it becomes a visual display of the owner's personality. Imagine shelves overflowing with well-loved cookbooks, vibrant spices, and lush greenery – a testament to the homeowner's culinary passions and love for nature.

Light and Air – The Invisible Guests

DROO's design goes beyond aesthetics. Recognizing the importance of a breathable and airy environment, they strategically placed a series of circular skylights. These skylights not only bathe the interior in warm, natural light, but also introduce a dynamic element. As the sun moves throughout the day, the light casts ever-changing patterns, creating a truly captivating atmosphere.

Harmony in Every Curve

DROO's commitment to thoughtful design extends beyond the interior. The crescent shape that defines the kitchen nook seamlessly extends outwards, echoing the geometry of the external BBQ area and bench. This visual continuity creates a sense of unity and flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

A Space that Transforms

The architects' clever use of circular skylights adds another layer of magic. Throughout the day, the warm light changes the character of the space. This dynamic element adds a touch of whimsy and encourages a deeper connection with the natural world.

The Result: A Triumph of Design

Through thoughtful planning and exceptional design, DROO Architects have transformed a challenging space into a light-filled oasis. The kitchen, bathed in sunshine, becomes the heart of the home. The cleverly designed nook provides storage while showcasing the homeowner's personality. And the use of natural light and skylights creates a dynamic and captivating space that is both beautiful and functional. This project exemplifies DROO's commitment to creating spaces that not only meet the needs of their clients but also elevate their lives.
