Italian kitchen manufacturer Valcucine launches Forma Mentis, a new modular kitchen system offering original features and multiple spatial solutions.
The new range is characterised by a slanting worktop and door with metal edge protector, resulting from exacting studies into the juxtaposition of different materials. The worktops can be configured in various depths and with recess channels in different colours, allowing for unique and customisable combinations. The wall panels are designed for creating striking patterns and graphic effects when paired with different doors. Angled edges with micro ridges ensure an excellent grip and allow for the easy opening of handle-free doors.
Forma Mentis can be integrated into a larger Valcucine system with the possibility of mixing and matching items from other models. It features unique and tactile textures expressed through a variety of material surfaces, such as glass – in the new latte, cocoa and warm black tones - laminate, stone, steel – available in matte and gloss finishes – and different colours – including the new Anthracite and Flame.
Thoughtful ergonomic design is seen in a number of elements including a fully equipped back wall section integrated into the worktop, providing a versatile and functional tool for storage. The storage capacity in the base units has also been expanded.
In keeping with the attention the company has always dedicated to the theme of sustainability, Valcucine’s latest kitchen design fully embraces green values. Angel Skin, a new PVC free-material that can be disposed of without producing dioxin emissions, has been developed to reduce its future impact. Angel Skin is available in Black, White, Ash and Grey.
Forma Mentis is a research project born out of a long-term commitment to the in-depth study of materials. Once again, the company has chosen to investigate and interpret new materials in a bid to bring out and highlight their expressive powers and aesthetic capacities.
