The Peter Adjaye soundtrack for David Adjaye's Nobel Peace Centre, Nobel Field for his Music for Architecture project 'Dialogues' will be released on Vinyl Factory Records in July 2016.
An atmosphere was needed that would help minimize the background sounds from the electronic equipment in this innovative interactive space called the Nobel Field that was required to last for at least ten to 50 years.
The original soundscape consists of 100 different layers representing the 100th anniversary of the Nobel Prize which was given to Wangari Maathi, that can be used in any combination, creating infinite permutations. The space has 18 speakers, three subwoofers, 18 channels of amplification in six bays, using computer hardware, SOFTWARE (max SP) and graphics.
