Brooklyn-based studio, Think Fabricate shared with us five new hardwood furnishings that are suitable for both residential and commercial applications. The products demonstrate the communal spirit and thoughtful design the studio is known for with striking details such as geometric motifs, brass inlays and tapered chamfer edges.

Dialogue Table & Dialogue Bench

Think Fabricate: Dialogue Table

Dialogue Table is an 8.5' long maple hardwood table that was conceived upon the principle of truly thoughtful, engaging design. A striking brass inlay on the surface features a dynamic geometric motif evolving from Think Fabricate's continuous exploration of hexagonal forms in its work - a shape that inspires the studio due to the interesting juxtaposition it creates with square/rectangular forms.

Two central triangular legs give this table another intriguing, angular element, and allow for more comfortable and plentiful seating around the perimeter. Complementing the table is the matching Dialogue Bench, available in both walnut and maple hardwood, featuring an off-center brass in-lay that creates two visual 'halves'. The bench adds to the communal feel of the table, where many can sit to dine, discuss etc.

Wall*nut Hexagons

Available in a minimum order of three, Think Fabricate and its affiliated architecture studio, Doban Architecture, have collaborated to create an eye-catching wall installation of hexagonal forms that is not only decorative but can be outfitted with mirrors, plant-holders, baskets, and small-scale shelving.

Created from wood (walnut, maple and MDF), teak, and mirror, these hexagons are customizable and can be combined in different ways creating an overall honeycomb effect.

Tapered Chamfer Dining Table

Think Fabricate: Tapered Chamfer Dining Table

The studio's first dining table, this 7' long walnut piece features tapered chamfer edges - an angled cut that varies in width - running beneath the angled edges of the table top and framing the outside edges of the legs to convey a sculptural, elongated character.

This design detail functions perfectly in tandem with the wood material, highlighting its inherent natural qualities and accentuating the table's form.

Tapered Chamfer Mirror

Continuing Think Fabricate's exploration of tapered chamfer edges, the Tapered Chamfer Mirror is a 7' tall floor-standing wall-leaning mirror, designed so that the mirrored glass is set parallel to the wall - another subtle and provocative play with angles.
